a congregation the size of a megachurch, the good looks of Bill Hybels, the drive of Rick Warren, the preaching ability of Chuck Swindoll, the flamboyance of Robert Schuller, the oratorical skills of Martin Luther King Jr., the creativity of Calvin Miller, and the selflessness of Mother Teresa. No wonder we get discouraged. What is reality? Reality is imperfection. Most people aren’t brilliant. Everyone has weaknesses as well as strengths. Few will ever be famous. But God’s grace is for all of us.
